MY MOM HAS A JOB AGAIN.

Well, pretty much, anyways. They gave her an ID badge and told her that if she fills out some paperwork and does some tests on the computer, she can start working next week.

GOD WILLING!

I feel so relieved.

As you may have known, my mom's out of a job. It was okay the first month, seeing as she still got her biweekly pay check.

Now? We're really not doing good.

I've been in a rotten mood lately. It's that time of the month. I also keep worrying and stressing over nothing. I read a quote that said you should let pleasure control your life, and not let your life control pleasure, and I think I should really follow that if I want to be happy.

Summer's as blah as I feared it would be.

I mean, at first it was pretty cool. I was actually busy for a while, which was a nice surprise. But nowadays...everything's so meh. I can't go out, and I tell myself to not eat a lot because I don't want Mom to waste more money on food since she's lacking a job.

So as you may have read on tumblr, my Mom's been fired from her job. Even though she saved a man's life.

She works in a nursery home. She was working with a trainee and they had to lift a man up. Apparently the trainee wasn't doing a very good job and the man was almost falling off. So Mom did some quick thinking and put him down on the floor. ( Read more... )
